My story so far…

Hi I'm Lunar

I came into the sanctuary in February from a vet practice after I had been handed in as a stray suspected to be pregnant. I was not spayed or chipped and had clearly been living rough on the streets as I had ticks on my face and head and some small cuts and damage to my one ear from a previous injury somehow. I was early stages pregnant but was spayed for my own health and wellbeing.

My carers all describe me as a very sweet, friendly loving young girl. I enjoy affection and lap cuddles and I am good with new people as I will want to say hello! I can sometimes be a little cheeky and nip although never nasty. I am just a lovely girl.

I had to have a further operation as my spay area became swollen and the vets then noticed I had a hernia which needed repairing. I have recovered well from this. I am otherwise a healthy young girl with no health concerns and I am now ready to find my loving forever home!

Home I am looking for…

I can live with children 6+ years as long as they will be gentle with me.

I do not seem to like other cats too much here at the sanctuary so would much prefer to be the only cat in my new home. I am not keen on dogs either as they are a bit too scary so I would prefer not to live with one.

I would be fine to be homed to be an indoor only cat in a home with sufficient space and plenty of enrichment such as lots of cat toys and cat furniture to keep me occupied. I would also need enough company if being kept indoor only. Alternatively I could be homed to have safe outdoor access after a settling in period of at least 8 weeks indoors. I will need my new home to be well away from any main/busy roads and railway lines for my own safety.

Homes with catios or cat proofed gardens would be preferred.

Home and Road/environmental checks apply.

(Applicants will ONLY be contacted if you are a suitable match. Please be aware we complete our rehoming checks prior to arranging any meets)

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.

Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
