Everything you need to know about adopting an animal
Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our lovely animals.
Please ensure you have read and understood the following adoption policies before enquiring about an animal from Wythall Animal Sanctuary, and that you are comfortable with the adoption fees.
We have dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs that all need a loving home. Can you help?
Adoption Process
Take a look on our website to see if there is an animal that you are interested in, and that they would be suited to you and your lifestyle. Please note that if there is an animal marked as ‘AVAILABLE SOON’, we will NOT take any interests until they are ready and available for adoption.
Fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form
IF you are a suitable candidate for that animal, one of our team will be in touch.
For cat adoptions we do have to complete our road checks and home check prior to arranging the meet. Most of our home checks for cats are done remotely in the form of a home video tour or photos of the home. We do home visits in person for indoor cats with specific needs.
We will then arrange for you/your family to come up and meet the animal.
For dog adoptions where you have an existing dog in the home, a dog meet will be arranged for here at the Sanctuary (we will require proof of up to date vaccinations)
For dog adoptions one of our team will then arrange to come out and do a homecheck.
If all goes well we will then arrange a day for you to come and collect the animal, ready to start its new life with you!
