Hiya!

I’m Vintage

I came to the sanctuary in August of 2020, along with a few other cats; upon arrival my carers noticed that my ear were causing me a lot of pain.

My new vets said that it was infected and so I began a course of eardrops, vet trips and good old TLC, but the infection showed no sign of letting up.

At this point, my foster mums showed up; they had one cuddle and just couldn’t say no to this gorgeous face! On my next trip to the vets, it was decided that I would need to have the ear removed as it would take the pain with it.

Since being rid of it I’ve been so much happier!

A recent tumor grew through my eardrum, leaving me deaf in that ear. But despite all my problems, I absolutely love cuddles and fuss from my favourite people in the world!

I also used to have a best friend and big brother called Joey, who sadly passed away in December of 2022. This was a tough time for everyone in the house.

Three years on and I still live with my foster mums, as well as my dog, guinea pig and cat siblings! I usually have to be the dad of the bunch to keep them all in line!

After some time, I felt a bit more like myself and got back to my usual antics, however my ears were still causing issues.

My ears will often grow polyps and tumors that have to be removed.

My foster mums often look after kittens needing to be hand-reared, as well as poorly cats, so I like to get involved and offer my parenting services when I can.
