My story so far…

I came into the sanctuary originally as a stray. My carers managed to retrace some steps of mine but it ultimately led to the conclusion that I had been abandoned. I recently went to my new home but it didn’t work out through no fault of my own…

I am super loving with all of the staff and volunteers here at the Sanctuary. I love going out on long walks and playing with my toys! I can be a little boisterous at times (I just don’t realise my size) but the majority of the time I am super chilled and gentle. I am the most lovable boy - I just need a family to give me a real chance!

Home I am looking for…

I would suit a family home with slightly older dog-savvy children (best suited to around 8+) but my carers would consider younger children for the right dog-savvy home! I would just love a family I can bound around and play in the garden with me.

I could potentially live with a spayed female dog pending successful dog meets here at the Sanctuary. Dogs must be vaccinated and proof of this would be required.

I cannot live with cats or small animals due to me being far too interested in them!

I can be left up to 4 hours in the home. In my previous home I was a little bit unsettled when I was left alone for the first 5-20 minutes but my carers believe with routine, patience and time I would settle perfectly - please remember the 333 rule when adopting a rescue dog like me!

Behaviour & Training

I am brilliant with obedience training when you can channel my focus. My carers say with long walks and a good level of mental stimulation I have the potential to make a really loving companion for someone.

Most of the time I walk fantastically on my lead and harness but if there is something I really want to get to, I can pull a little bit and due to my size this may require a little further training on the lead. My carers can give pointers on this - they do not struggle with me when walking me at all. Please take a chance on me, you won’t regret it!

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.
