My story so far…

Helloooo my name is Woody!

I came into the sanctuary at the start of April after I was found as a stray, entire and not chipped. I was cared for by a kind man until rescue space was found.

I am a very friendly young boy and I enjoy human company and affection. I often enjoy rubbing around my carer's legs for fusses. I am also a very independent boy though and often take myself off to investigate my surroundings or roll around on the floor with my toys! I am only young and so do really enjoy playing too! Oh, I also love my food and treats! No surprise there from a stray boy like me!

Everyone says how beautiful I am too! People particularly love my fluffy tail! I am semi long haired and have extra floof on my tail which needs to be kept groomed to prevent matting. I happily enjoy being brushed and will be even happier if I get a treat or two during the process.

I am now ready to find my loving forever home. Could you be my new humans?

Home I am looking for…

I could live with sensible children 12+ years. I am an independant boy and as loving as I can be I just dont want to live with any young children.

I can be a bit naughty around some cats so it is for the best that there are no other cats in my new home (unless rehomed with Leo). I was a bit wary of other cats to begin with as I was unsure of them. I have made friends with Leo (also looking for his forever home) though and we do enjoying playing together. I can be a bit boisterous when playing but I am a good match with him. He seems to love me a lot! We could be rehomed together however I would be perfectly fine as an only cat too.

I seemed quite scared of the dogs and wouldn't be near them so I would rather not live with one please!

I just want a nice loving home and not have to worry about living rough on the streets again!

I do need to be able to have safe outdoor access after a settling in period of at least 8 weeks indoors. This is to make sure I am settled in my home and bonded with my new humans before being allowed out into the big world!

I will need my new home to be well away from any main/busy roads and railway lines for my own safety.

Home and Road/environmental checks apply.

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.

Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
