My story so far…
Hellooooo I'm Mittens (Yes I am a very stunning boy but please can I politely ask you read all about me and the home I need before enquiring just based on how I look!)
I came into the sanctuary after I was surrendered by my previous owners due to difficult circumstances with neighbours which were through no fault of my own.
I am a friendly boy and enjoy affection on my terms. I can be a bit grumpy in the cattery here at the sanctuary as I am just a bit sensitive and wary around all the other cats here. I am fairly settled in my pen now though. My carer says that I will be so much happier once I get into a suitable home where I can be my true self again. My previous owners said I was a very sweet, friendly loving boy and enjoyed lots of attention. I am also very playful when i am in the mood to play!
I am a beautiful big boy with long fur so will need my new humans to keep on top of grooming me to prevent matting. I dont mind being brushed for short periods of time.
I am a healthy young boy with no health concerns and I am now ready to find my loving forever home! Could you be my new humans?
Home I am looking for…
I could happily live with older children 10+ as long as they are gentle and respect my boundaries.
I am not too happy around the other cats here at the sanctuary and seem to get a bit stresed and wary of them so would much prefer to be the only cat in my new home. I also do not like dogs and would not like to live with one.
I would enjoy safe outdoor access after a settling in period of at least 8 weeks indoors. This is to make sure I am settled in my home and bonded with my new humans before being allowed outdoors. A home with a catio or cat proofed garden would also be acceptable! This must already be in place to ensure I will get outdoor time.
Home and Road/environmental checks apply.
(Applicants will ONLY be contacted if you are a suitable match. Please be aware we complete our rehoming checks prior to arranging any meets)
If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.
Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
