My story so far…

Hello!! My name is Miley :)

I came into the sanctuary in June after I was surrendered by my previous owners due to a change in their family circumstances and through no fault of my own.

I had fleas on arrival and was suffering from a horrible flea allergy which had caused some fur loss and sores on my body. I was treated for this and soon started to feel so much better. My fur has been growing back lovely over the last month too! I have also been on a good diet to improve my fur and skin condition and I am now looking so much healthier.

I am a very sweet and gentle young girl. I can be a bit wary and timid to start with but soon warm up to you. I am very loving and enjoy lots of fusses and head rubs. I have a cute habit of head butting my carers for face hugs and kisses. I also love to flop and roll over and will cuddle into you. I do also like my own independant chill time aswell as playing too! In my previous home I enjoyed chilling out in the garden.

Home I am looking for…

Medical history…

I am a healthy girl with no current health concerns.

A few things to note…

In my previous home I injured my eye and whilst It healed fine, the trauma left me with a small scar on the cornea of my eye. I do not seem to have any issues with this though and it most likely will not cause or require any treatment in the future.

I have a retained baby canine tooth which comes over my lip slightly. This doesnt cause me any issues and should just be monitored and checked at the vets when I have my yearly booster vaccines.

I have a small fatty lump you can feel inside my belly where I have previously had an umbilical hernia. The vet says the hernia closed up which is good but had caused a fatty lump. The vet advised to just monitor this as It shouldn’t cause me any further issues or the need for surgery. it is always best to be cautious though on the small chance It will need further veterinary attention.

I am looking for a calm loving home. I can live with children over 8+ years as I have previously lived with older children fine.

I am quite wary of other cats and have never lived with one either so would much prefer to be an only cat in my new home. I am also very wary of dogs and so wouldn’t want to live with one.

I would enjoy safe outdoor access in my new home once I have settled in. I must be kept indoors for AT LEAST 8 weeks to settle and bond with my new human/s. I will not be rehomed on or near any main/busy roads or railway lines for my own safety. Road/ environmental check applies. A spacious indoor home would also be considered for me.

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.

Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
