My story so far…

Helloooo my name is Billy-Bob

I came into the sanctuary at the end of July after I was found as a stray (entire and not chipped) in need of rescuing. I was at risk of getting run over on busy roads and I also kept trying to enter peoples homes for food. My finder was concerned for my safety.

I am a very friendly young boy and I really love human company and affection. I am quite a clingy boy at times and love to follow my carers around for attention and food! I can be a trip hazard as I do get in the way a bit but I just want to be loved and feel safe. You can’t blame me for that can you! My carers describe me as a super sweet boy with lots of love to give. How can you not love my adorable face!I will certainly be the purrrfect addition to a loving home.

Due to being an ex stray I am very food orientated. I love my meal times and treats. It is unknown how I will be in a home environment but potential adopters will need to be prepeared to teach and train me out of any naughty habits I may show trying to steal human foods.

When I came into the sanctuary my third eyelids were over for a few days which can be a sign of illness or stress. I could likely be a cat flu carrier however I didn’t have any other symptoms of cat flu and haven’t shown any other signs of illness whilst I have been here. Sometimes under my eyes get a little dirty and may need a bit of gentle bathing. I have been to the vets for all my routine vet work and I am a healthy boy.

I am now ready to find my loving forever home. Could you be my new humans? I cant wait to meet them!

Home I am looking for…

My ideal home would be a home with people around a lot! I love people and would enjoy being around children too. Of course children must be taught to be respectful and gentle around animals. My new humans must have plenty of time for me. There are other cats looking for homes that would be much happier being left daily than I would be.

I would rather not live with another cat (for now anyway). I have shown I can take a disliking to some cats and I am not interested in making friends with them.

I can live with a cat friendly dog that will respect my space. I am not phased by dogs but will confidently give them a little telling off if they get right up close.

I just want a nice loving home and not have to worry about living rough on the streets again!

I do need to be able to have safe outdoor access after a settling in period of at least 8 weeks indoors. This is to make sure I am settled in my home and bonded with my new humans before being allowed out into the big world! I would be fine as an indoor cat too if I had a catio or cat proofed garden I could venture into.

During the first 8 weeks of settling in, I will need to be kept away from any doors leading straight outdoors when humans are coming in and out on the chance of me trying to escape. I am quite a determined boy so given the opportunity I would likely escape outside before I should.

I will need my new home to be well away from any main/busy roads and railway lines for my own safety. Please expect to not hear back if you do live on or near a busy road.

Home and Road/environmental checks apply.

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.

Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
