My story so far…
Helloooo my name is Biscuit!
I came into the sanctuary in September after I was surrendered due to an unfortunate change in my owners circumstances meaning they were unable to care for me properly and give me the time and attention I need.
I am a very sweet young girl and enjoy affection and attention. I am happy meeting new people and having fusses and I do the cutest little chirps when asking for attention. In my previous home, my carer was told that I enjoyed being held and cuddled too. I am only young so I also enjoy playing with my toys and having a good run around.
I have shown that I can be a bit worried and wary about situations at times but this could be the cattery environment. My carer feels that once I am settled in a home I will feel truly content and comfortable.
My main carer says I am a very lovely girl and says whoever adopts me will be very lucky.
So, I am now ready to find my loving forever home. Could you be my new humans?
Home I am looking for…
I would be happy to live with children (6+ years) as I lived happily with children in my previous home. Of course children must be taught to be respectful and gentle around animals. My new family must have plenty of time for me.
I would rather not live with another cat (for now anyway). I have shown to be a bit wary and unsure around other cats and I am not that interested in making friends with them.
I could live with a cat friendly dog that will respect my space. I have previously lived with a small dog and have been assessed around a few cat friendly dogs here at the sanctuary.
In my previous home I was very homely and enjoyed being indoors. I did have the option to go outdoors and would only potter in the garden a little but I wasn’t too bothered by the outdoors. I would be fine as a strictly indoor cat with no outdoor access. I must have lots of human attention and enrichment such as toys and cat furniture though to keep me occupied. I could be homed to be allowed safe outdoor access too! If so I will need my new home to be well away from any main/busy roads and railway lines for my own safety. I would also need to be kept indoors for at least 8 weeks before being allowed outdoors to allow me time to settle and bond with my new humans.
Home and Road/environmental checks apply.
If your adoption application is successful the carer will contact you to further discuss our adoption process. Please note- to insure suitability we do our rehoming checks before we can arrange any meets here at the sanctuary.
Medical history…
It is worth noting that when I was a kitten (2 years ago) in my previous home, I did see the vet for urinating around the house. I had a urine test which came back all clear and this issue stopped once I had been spayed. I had no further issues in my previous home then or since coming into the sanctuary. I am a very healthy girl with no current health concerns.
Diet…
I am on wet and dry food. I do prefer dry food and I am currently on a mixture of James wellbeloved and Purr & Miaow dry foods. I also enjoy a small amount of applaws or encore wet food daily too. I am quite a fancy cat and dont like the cheaper wet foods. My new humans would need to buy good quality wet and dry food for me!
If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.
Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
